Lincoln’s premier development One The Brayford, which features 89 luxury apartments and three restaurant units on Brayford Wharf, recently welcomed its first residents including Sim and Victoria Bellandini, who have moved in to their new two-bedroom apartment.

Sim, who is the owner of popular Caffe Portico in Lincoln, wanted the convenience of city centre living and being able to walk to work combined with the perks of a luxury modern lifestyle, having previously been in a traditional four-bed home in Doddington village.

He said “We have been desperate to move into our new pad and now that we’re in we love the lifestyle. After seeing the show apartment back in 2017 we jumped at the opportunity to purchase at One The Brayford and we are now settled in to our contemporary surroundings and it’s so convenient that everything is on our doorstep.

“While it’s just a hop, skip and a jump to work in the morning and close to all the amenities Lincoln has to offer, it’s the view that captivates my wife and I on a daily basis. Our apartment looks out over Brayford Pool which is particularly stunning at night.

“It was of course a change of lifestyle for us having lived in a four-bed detached house for many years, but it has made our daily lives simpler and less stressful. It’s like having a refreshing new start as we’ve decluttered and had a good clear out before the move and that in itself has been a new start for us. We still feel like we are on holiday every day –  long may it continue!”

Sim, 50, and his wife chose an open-plan, south facing apartment, which boasts luxurious soft furnishings, an open plan kitchen, dining and living area as well as state-of-the-art technology features including a Google Nest smart controlled heating system.

One The Brayford is the conversion of the existing historic Mill House by Jackson Living; a division of Jackson & Jackson Developments which will be complete next month (February). The bold and modern interior fit-out of the apartments has been delivered by Lincoln-based LGG Projects.
